5G Productions Releases Free Gym Class Heroes/Hall & Oats Mash-Up

Production duo 5G Productions based out of New York just released their Gym Class Heroes/ Hall and Oats remix tape, which they’re offering to download for free from their web site. Check it out here and, take my word, Gym Class fans will definitely want to check this out because the ish sounds right! The “New Friend Request” remix featuring legendary MC Louis Logic is among my personal favorites. You may also want to check out their Ludacris/Jackson 5 mash-up because it’s amazing as well. 5G has been getting a lot of attention and praise around the hip-hop and mainstream music community, recently getting coverage from MTV. Producers J.J. Brown and Dan “The Deacon” Maier of 5G Productions bring you their follow up to last year’s ground-breaking “Re-Release Therapy” (a remix project blending Ludacris’ vocals with beats constructed solely of Jackson 5 elements) with “As Cruel As School Children, The Match-Up”. This meticulously constructed collection finds Brown and Maier mixing the a cappellas from Gym Class Heroes’ chart topping album “As Cruel As School Children” with musical backdrops comprised entirely of samples from the works of legendary recording duo Daryl Hall and John Oates.

Includes new “Match-Up” versions of Gym Class Heroes’ hit singles “Clothes Off!!” and “Cupid’s Chokehold” as well as an exclusive remix of “New Friend Request” featuring 5G’s own lyrical genius, Louis Logic. Enjoy!
